Welcome to 'Cruachan' B&B

Bed & Breakfast situated on shore of Loch Creran, Appin on West Coast of Scotland.

B&B Appin Scotland   Frosty Morning on Loch Creran
We would like to welcome you to our home on the shores of Loch Creran, in beautiful North Argyll. The area is rich in flora and fauna - birds (from wrens to sea-eagles), red and roe deer, seals and otters. Rare butterflies including the Pearl Bordered Fritillary and the Chequered Skipper can be found nearby at Glasdrum Nature Reserve.

Our relaxing location, 20 miles north of Oban, and 25 miles south of Fort William, makes it an ideal base for exploring Argyll and Lochaber and the islands of Mull and Lismore. There are numerous 'Munros' and 'Corbetts' in the area, and it's a short 20 minute drive to Glencoe - a veritable haven for 'Munro Baggers'.

Nearby facilities include Sea Life Sanctuary, Island of Lismore, a riding centre, mountain-bike hire, sea kayaking, canyoning and a multitude of other outdoor activities. We are situated on the Port Appin Loop of the Sustrans Cycle Network Track (No.78) which goes between Oban and Fort William.
For those wishing a more relaxing break, there are endless photographic opportunities.

We look forward to meeting you and helping you enjoy your break.
