Welcome to 'Cruachan' B&B and Walking Appin

Bed & Breakfast situated on shore of Loch Creran, Appin on West Coast of Scotland.

B&B Appin Scotland   Frosty Morning on Loch Creran
We would like to welcome you to our home on the shores of Loch Creran, in beautiful North Argyll. The area is rich in flora and fauna - birds (from wrens to sea-eagles), red and roe deer, seals and otters. Rare butterflies including the Pearl Bordered Fritillary and the Chequered Skipper can be found nearby at Glasdrum Nature Reserve.

Our relaxing location, 20 miles north of Oban, and 25 miles south of Fort William, makes it an ideal base for exploring Argyll and Lochaber and the islands of Mull and Lismore.

We have three bedrooms for our guests - one double and one twin - both en-suite, while the other twin has its' own separate bathroom. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities, a radio alarm clock and a hair dryer.

We also operate a guided walking service called 'WALKING APPIN', which features on this web-site. There are numerous 'Munros' and 'Corbetts' in the area, and it's a short 20 minute drive to Glencoe - a veritable haven for 'Munro Baggers'.

Nearby facilities include Sea Life Sanctuary, boat/fishing hire, a riding centre, mountain-bike hire, sea kayaking, canyoning and a multitude of other outdoor activities.
For those wishing a more relaxing break, there are endless photographic opportunities.

We look forward to meeting you and helping you enjoy your break.
